I used compressed charcoal yes. Koh-i-Nor and Faber Castell
The paper i used if i remember correctly is CANSON approx 200gsm. sorry cannot tell you with precision as I finished the drawing book along time ago and never bought another one since as unfortunaely i cannot find time for drawing

any way man thanks for ur reply and i also want some tips from a great artist like u. how did u manage to make that drawing(the good, the bad and the ugly) so photo realistic. how did u do the shadeing and how did u do the outline because i looked at ur drawing so closely and i couldent find one line visible, so how exactly do u do this?!!

I use many tools when doing a portrait such as cotton wool and swab, Kneaded rubber. electric eraser, pencil eraser. I'll try to take a picture of all my tools and post it, hopefully shortly. As for the fact that no line is visible, maybe it is because when drawing skin i intenionally use blunt pencils. Not always, however. When then i draw with a sharpened pencil i use the cotton swabs/wool.
